La famosa fiera si svolgerà l’11, il 12 e il 13 giugno, anche se tutte le conferenze più importanti saranno in linea di massima concentrate giorno 10. Da tenere conto, per quanto riguarda l’orario, della differenza fra l’ora italiana e quella americana. Sony ha in programma di completare la presentazione di PS4 e Microsoft sarà concentrata sul fronte videoludico con Xbox One. Riguardo a Nintendo, sappiamo che non terrà una conferenza ufficiale, ma ha previsto un apposito Nintendo Direct, dedicato soprattutto a Wii U.
Il programma dell’E3 2013 seguirà il seguente schema (tutte ore italiane): Microsoft (10 giugno, ore 18:30), Electronic Arts (10 giugno, ore 22:00), Ubisoft (10 giugno a mezzanotte), Sony (11 giugno, ore 03:00), Nintendo Direct (11 giugno, ore 16:00), Square Enix (11 giugno, ore 18:00).
Per quanto riguarda i giochi che verranno presentati, i titoli abbondano. 2K Games avrebbe in programma da presentare WWE 14, Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Brave New World, NBA 2K14, XCOM: Enemy Unknown per iOS e Borderlands 2 DLC. Bethesda invece presenterà The Evil Within e The Elder Scrolls Online.
Al Nintendo Direct verranno presi in considerazione Mario Kart Wii U, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda Windwaker HD, un nuovo The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros. 4, Mario Golf World Tour, Mario Party 3DS, Pokemon X/Y, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.
Dal fronte Electronic Arts arriveranno molto probabilmente novità per: FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, NHL 14, Need for Speed: Rivals, Madden NFL 25, NCAA Football 14. Bioware invece dovrebbe presentare Mass Effect 4, Ryse e Dragon Age III: Inquisition.
Activision annuncerà sicuramente Call of Duty Ghosts e Destiny. Rimane ancora incerta la presentazione di Deadpool. Da Konami potrebbero arrivare informazioni su PES 2014, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 e Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain.
Molte le novità da Square Enix, che dovrebbe presentare: Final Fantasy PS4, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5, Mudered: Soul Suspect, Saints Row 4, Thief, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy X / X2 HD Remaster.
Sarà presente anche Sega, con Company of Heroes 2, Total War Rome II e Castle of Illusion. Sony invece potrebbe annunciare i seguenti titoli: Gran Turismo 6, Killzone: Mercenary, Beyond: Two Souls, The Last of Us, Killzone Shadow Fall, Drive Club, The Last Guardian.
L’E3 2013 ci riserverà anche novità relative a Capcom (Remember Me, Deep Down, Project X Zone, un nuovo Street Fighter, Ducktales), Namco Bandai (Dark Souls 2, Tales of Xillia), Epic Games (Fortnite), Telltale Games (The Wolf Among Us e The Walking Dead 2). Presente anche Ubisoft, con Flashback, Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag, Watch Dogs, Rainbow Six Patriots, Splinter Cell Blacklist.
